Elypsium ISINAC: precision to master low frequencies

Low frequencies constitute the most decisive —and at the same time the most complex— territory in the acoustics of a space. Our Elypsium, bass trap from the HiFi range, is designed to intervene with technical control and surgical precision on that sound spectrum.
To ensure its performance, the Tecnalia acoustics laboratory endorsed its metrics in two tests. Thus, its behavior shows a coherent and stable progression in absorption areas per object: from values of approximately 0.7 m² in the 100 Hz band to others close to 1.0–1.1 m² at higher frequencies. This stability allows for an effective management that is especially relevant in complexly designed rooms with projections, corners, or hard-to-treat areas.

In addition, we must add its architecture. Elypsium is conceived as a hybrid object between acoustic technology and an interior design piece. Its presence can be reinterpreted as an element of scenic furniture —lectern, support, or decorative volume— integrating naturally into theaters, auditoriums, or music rooms, where design must accompany both the acoustic function and the visual experience of the space.
The result is not only sonic energy control, but a tool for elegantly tuning the overall acoustics of a room, especially in high-demand environments.
