The champion's acoustics: we transform the new Olympiacos FC museum

A history full of titles in all its disciplines. One of the best basketball clubs in the world, also the most decorated in Greece and a regular in the world's top football competitions.

The legend of Olympiacos, a club from Piraeus in Greece, deserved a museum to match. The sports organization got to work, redesigning its rooms full of successes. However, when planning the video projection rooms to list all those sporting feats, they ran into a major problem: the annoying, highly reverberant echo ruined the immersive experience.

Together with our partner Stop Sound, we got to work. With a solution of self-adhesive squares and rectangles made of mineral foam and ILUCS, we managed to reduce the annoying noise in the rooms by 80%. In addition, the installation was quick, simple, and without the need for further construction work. All in time for its grand opening before the start of a new and exciting season for the club.

Now, the projections already allow us to visualize and hear all the grandeur of the history of the Greek Olympiacos, while also meeting all health and safety requirements against potential fires in public spaces in the country. A landmark project for one of the best sports clubs in the world.
