Gym and stage: this school in Vigo is now in tune
We transformed a multi-purpose space at the Vicente Risco school in Vigo (Spain) where sports and music intermingle. Gymnastics classes take place there in the mornings and, in the afternoons, a children's orchestra prepares its concerts. It is a project that integrates boys and girls from 14 nationalities, helping in vulnerable situations and fostering an interest in music.
However, that space had a major reverberation problem. Instruments overlapped and sounded bad, the screams of children running around in class were deafening.
ISINAC was in charge of conditioning the room to refine every sound without losing the essence of this vibrant and versatile space. With a combination of gray foam circles and others with ILUCS in bright colors, plus a large Tens-Tex on the front wall bearing the name of the orchestra that rehearses there, the room completely transformed.
A new visual game that reflects the energy of the students and the passion of their young musical group in a space to feel and enjoy.
