Chef Luis Veira's restaurant project is located next to the emblematic artillery batteries that protected the A Coruña estuary, at the top of San Pedro hill. It is defined as a small restaurant "between nature and the sea" and is a charming panoramic restaurant with tables that invite you to enjoy the city from above.
Árbore da Veira has a privileged view of the famous Tower of Hercules and interior designer Iván Cotado's studio came up with a concept that includes professional acoustic absorption from ISINAC. The following were installed two-layer curtains consisting of PX210 non-woven fabric and our ILUCS, 100% Trevira CS which is sound absorbing and the only fire resistant polyester.
With an elegant finish, in addition to their great absorbent properties, the aim was also to take advantage of the soundproofing provided by these products to reorganise calm spaces while tasting the haute cuisine elaborations. The ceilings were redesigned with panels of ISINAC mineral foam emulating the image you can admire of the sea and the estuary.
The chef from A Coruña sought to put the five senses on the Atlantic with suggestive tasting menus with local produce. A unique, elegant and efficient project to enjoy the best Galician cuisine in a privileged setting.
